I’ve been asked to give a presentation tonight [edit: this is an old post now] on WordPress and how to start blogging. I decided than rather than rehash the usual stuff about being interesting and writing at least one post a week that I would instead do what I do best and keep it technical. Therefore if you are in the Talbot Hotel in Carlow tonight at 7pm you will be treated to a very specific twenty minute demonstration of how to create a WordPress blog on your own hosting account with Carlow based firm Blacknight. The presentation will take you all the way from installing WordPress to creating your first blog post. I will even show you how to to upload a new theme and make your blog look pretty cool.
